Stevie Mc Kenna has once again thrown a broadside at rival Conor Benn as he looks to set up a possible meeting in the near future. The Hitman has remarked that he would be to big and strong for the "Wee" British fighter who is the current WBA Continental Welterweight champion, a title he has held since 2018 as he remains unbeaten in 18 fights with 12 of those coming via knock out. Speaking via a youtube channel of his promoter Hennessy sports, Stevie who hails from Monaghan appeared to be calling out the son of former world champion Nigel Benn, but believes he will not accept the invitation to meet in the ring.
Elsewhere in local boxing, Dominic Donegan is set to step back into the ring on the 6th of August when he is part of the bill been hosted by the Kynock Boxing in Scotland with the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow set to host the event.The Cavan middleweight is currently 5 wins and 1 loss since turning professional and his opponent is expected to be announced in the coming days.
