Carrickmacross manager Val Andrews is enjoying his early days in charge at the Monaghan club.
His side made a winning start to the Monaghan senior football championship on Saturday beating Latton 1-8 to 1-6 with Stephen Gollogly's last-gasp penalty sealing the victory.
The Dublin man is no stranger to the region having previously managed the Cavan senior side and he said it’s a pleasure to be involved at Carrickmacross;
