The Donaghmoyne ladies footballers continued the defence of their Ulster SFC crown with a 5-16 to 1-2 victory away to Carrickmore today.
Their provincial final opponents will be Down champions Bredagh after they defeated Antrim’s St. Ergnats 2-14 to 1-7 today.
Elsewhere, Bailieborough bowed out of the Ulster IFC at the quarter-final stages on Saturday. The Cavan champions suffered a 1-17 to 3-4 defeat to Trillick from Tyrone.
Cavan junior champions Drumgoon suffered the same fate in the Ulster JFC losing 2-6 to 1-5 to Bredagh B in the last eight.
There was better luck for Carrickmacross however. The Monaghan JFC champions have reached the provincial semi-finals following a 2-16 to 2-7 victory over Fermanagh’s Enniskillen Gaels.
