Tyholland reached the Ulster junior ladies semi-finals after beating Cuchulainns 1-11 to 1-8 on the road after extra-time.
The hosts led 1-3 to 1-2 at half-time. Sinead O’Reilly with Cuchulainns goal on 12 minutes, Aine Maguire found the net in response two minutes later.
However, Tyholland’s Aoibhin McCormack restored parity four minutes from time. The sides were tied at 1-6 apiece and extra-time was required.
Tyholland showed great urgency after the restart. Scores from Dearbhla McKenna (two), Zara Gillanders and Lisa Ward opened up a four-point lead.
Cuchullains replied with two of the next three scores but still fell short in the end.
