Round two of the Monaghan championship took off some interesting score lines on Saturday.
Inniskeen 2-13 Latton 2-10
Latton made a big comeback in this one having trailed by eight points at half-time.
Andrew Woods goal after eight minutes Oisin Mullen’s goals six minutes before the break saw Inniskeen lead 2-8 to six points at half-time.
Ciaran McNulty’s free 10 minutes into the second-half was Inniskeen’s final score of the game, making it 2-12 to 0-6.
Latton battled back and found two goals, but the game was over by then. Inniskeen recorded a two point win 2-13 to 2-10.
Castleblayney 1-6 Truagh 1-12
