Both Cavan and Monaghan ladies will be playing this weekend to stay in the championship and guarantee senior football for 2023. Gerry Moane's side have home advantage when they welcome Tipperary to Kingspan Breffni at 2pm on Saturday with both sides looking their first win. A victory for either team will see them avoiding a relegation play off with Mayo and Dublin having already claimed the quarter final spots. In the Athletic grounds Monaghan will face Armagh also at 2pm where the visitors know a win will see them into the quarter finals as well securing senior football for next season. They do however face a tough task against the current ulster champions who only need to avoid defeat to make the last 8 after they drew with Meath last weekend. The sides did meet in the provincial championship semi final with Armagh running out winners. Monaghan manager Kieran Keran's knows they face a tough test
We will have live coverage of both those games on Saturday sport.
