It was a landmark day for the Carrick Rovers Soccer club on Monday September 5th when they were presented with their FAI Club Mark award.
Ministers Catherine Martin and Heather Humphries were in attendance along with Irish International manager Stephen Kenny as well as club committee members and volunteers to celebrate the occasion and get an update on the development of 2 new pitches. Our reporter Sean Mc Caffrey was in attendance and he spoke to Stephen Kenny firstly noting it had been a busy day for the former Dundalk manager who had also paid a visit to Doohamlet National school
