Dublin are bottom of Division One in the Allianz Football League after the first round of games. All three matches in the top tier finished in draws yesterday, while Dessie Farrell's side lost to Armagh on Saturday. Rob Hennelly's late free earned Mayo a point in their 11 points apiece draw with Donegal in Sligo. Kildare fought back to secure a 13 points to 1-10 draw with Kerry in Newbridge while it finished 9 points all between Tyrone and Monaghan at Healy Park, Farney manager Seamus Mc Enaney was happy with the result and the peformance considering the conditions
Next up for Monaghan is the arrival of Mayo to Clones next weekend
Division 2 seen Roscommon, Clare, Derry and Galway all claim victories with Cork, Down, Offaly and Meath occupying the bottom half of the table. The Rossies overcame Cork by 1-13 to 10 points with Enda Smiths goal in the 13th minute giving the homeside a 7 point lead at half time. Manager Anthony Cunningham was another one happy with his teams performance
Next up for Roscommon is a trip away to Meath.
In Division 3 Antrim, Limerick, Westmeath and Laois are all off the mark following their victories on the opening weekend. Wicklow, Louth, Longford and Fermanagh will be looking to pick up their first points in round 2. Longfords defeat came at the hands of Limerick in the TUS Gaelic Grounds when they went down by 4-09 to 1-11. Manager Billy O Loughlin noted the poor start to the game prove costly.
Next up for Longford is the arrival of Louth to Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
In Division 4, the Shannonside/Northern Sound derby went in favour of Cavan after they recorded a 12 points to 8 win over Leitrim in Carrick on Shannon. The sides were level seven minutes into the second half but Leitrim would fail to score for another 23 minutes. The Breffni men amassed four points during that period before eventually winning by the same margin. Cavan boss Mickey Graham was delighted with the win adding that he's a decent panel of players at his disposal
Next up for Cavan is the visit of Wexford to Kingspan Breffni.
Leitrim boss Andy Moran was upbeat after the game despite being on the losing side
It is a trip to Tipperary for Leitrim next weekend
Other results in the division seen London defeat Carlow, Sligo were 2 point winners over Wexford and Tipperary drew with Waterford.
