Ballyhaise were crowned Cavan intermediate football champions following a comfortable victory over Denn in the decider at Kingspan Breffni.
Ballyhaise led 0-6 to 0-4 at the break before a dominant second-half display saw them win 0-13 to 0-7 in the end.
Denn led 0-2 to 0-1 on six minutes before three successive points saw Ballyhaise lead 0-4 to 0-2 ten minutes later.
Thomas Edward Donohue halved the deficit on 22 minutes. Points from Michael Brady and Brian O'Rourke restored Ballyhaise's two-point buffer at the break.
Ben Conaty made it a one-point game three minutes into the second half. However, Denn failed to score for another 28 minutes.
Ballyhaise capitalised and five successive scores followed, David Brady pushed them six clear on 53 minutes.
However, two minutes later, Sean McCormack was sent-off, leaving Ballyhaise with 14 men.
Brady made it a seven-point game before Cian McCann ended Denn’s scoring drought one minute into injury time.
Martin Conaty opened up a seven-point margin 60 second later. Denn’s Cavell Keogan saw red, deep into injury time after receiving both a black and yellow card.
Denn’s Thomas Edward Donohue replied with a point right at the death but nonetheless Ballyhaise held on for a comfortable victory.
