Castlerahan are through to the Ulster senior club football semi-finals following a 0-13 to 0-10 victory over Devenish St. Mary’s at Ederney.
The sides were tied at ten points each eight minutes from time before Castlerahan sealed victory by hitting three unanswered points.
The teams were deadlocked at one point each on six minutes before two points from Cormac Daly and one from Padraig McGahern saw Castlerahan move three points clear 16 minutes later.
Devenish subsequently settled into the game and landed four of the next five scores which made it five points each at half-time.
The sides drew level on five further occasions before two points from Cormac Daly and one from Karl Cosgrove saw Castlerahan emerge victorious.
The Cavan champions can now look forward to playing either Saval or Corduff in the Ulster semi-final on Sunday November 27th.
