Shannonside Northern Sound have secured live Allianz League, All-Ireland championship and Tailteann Cup rights until 2027 in a new deal with the GAA.

The move enables the station to continue its live coverage of matches involving Longford, Roscommon, Leitrim, Cavan and Monaghan.

"We continue to enjoy a successful partnership with the GAA since our founding in 1989 and we look forward to continuing to build this.

"Our award winning team of presenters, producers, editors, commentators and reporters will continue to provide the best GAA coverage in the country in what will be a ground breaking new championship season" added Hooper.

GAA President Larry McCarthy also welcomed the news. He said; “I would like to acknowledge the successful media partnerships we have had and continue to have as we strive to give our games the profile they deserve.
