Scotstown made it 12 Monaghan senior finals in a row with a two point victory over Inniskeen in their semi-final.
Scotstown led seven points to three at half-time before going onto win 14 points to 12.
Shane Carey opened the scoring with a Scotstown point after four minutes. A Donal Meegan mark had Inniskeen level a minute later.
Sean Jones kicked Inniskeen in-front on 11 minutes the only time Inniskeen would lead in the match. A Jack McCarron mark, one from play and Carey from play had Scotstown two points up on 17 minutes.
A Meegan free brought it back to one point on 20 minutes. Two McCarron frees and a Conor McCarthy point from play had Scostown four clear at half-time.
A Ciaran McNulty point from play plus a converted Donal Meegan free and point from play made it a two point game. Another Meegan point on 38 minutes made it a one point game.
Kieran Hughes and Conor Jones exchanged points as Scotstown led eight points to seven on 40 minutes.
Two Rory Beggan free’s and a Francis Maguire point had Scostown four clear on three-quarter time. Sean Jones responded with a free and a Ciaran McNulty point made it a two point game with nine minutes to play.
Conor McCarthy and Damien McArdle moved Scotstown four points clear with four minutes to play. Andrew Woods brought it back to three points a minute later.
Michael McCarville sent over an insurance point with a minute remaining. However, Inniskeen still weren’t done, Woods from play and a free in injury time cutting the deficit to two points.
However, Scotstown hung-on to reach their 12th final in a row. Scotstown will face Clontribret in the final on October 27th.
