Scarlett Herron has been nominated for the Women’s Under-19 International Player of the Year at the FAI awards.
Monaghan woman Herron has starred for Athlone Town in the Women’s League of Ireland while also a part of the Irish U19 team.
Herron faces Jessie Stapleton and Kate Thompson in competition for the award.
The nominees of the 33rd FAI International Awards have been confirmed ahead of a ceremony on Tuesday, June 20 in The Round Room in the Mansion House.
The performances taken into account are from June 2022 to June 2023, while the SSE Airtricity League Player of the Year takes in the entirety of the 2022 season.
