The Irish independent is reporting that Monaghan goalkeeper Rory Beggan could be making the switch to the NFL. The Scotstown clubman who featured in the weekends loss to Glen in the Ulster senior club final is believed to be lined up to kick in front of scouts from all 32 teams in the NFL at a combine in Indianapolis in the early part of next year. Wicklow number 1 Mark Jackson is also set to travel to the trial. The pair were involved at an international NFL combine in England back a number of weeks ago and appear to have impressed enough to have gotten a call to go state side.
