It’s reported that Rory Beggan could return to the Monaghan senior football team.
It’s understood that Beggan has been involved in their preparation for Sunday’s Ulster Championship opener against Cavan. However, it remains to be seen if he be involved.
Beggan was in America during recent months. The Monaghan goalkeeper was bidding to secure a contract as a kicker through the International Player Pathway programme.

The Scotstown clubman could still be signed up by a franchise during the coming months but for now he looks set to return to inter-county football.
