All Ireland referee David Goldrick believes there is an issue with the Red & Black card rule

Four-time All-Ireland Football final referee David Coldrick thinks the Football Review Committee will need to look at a rule which allows teams who have received a red or black card not to have to keep three players in the opposition half. Donegal manager Jim McGuinness said it was 'farcical' that his team had to keep three players back when Galway were reduced to 13 men in their loss to the Tribesmen on Sunday afternoon. Coldrick feels the rule is not adequately punishing teams who receive cards:

The Allianz football league continues this weekend with round 5 fixtures. Mayo take on Kerry, Armagh face Dublin, Galway host Tyrone and Derry are away to Donegal in Division 1.

Division 2 has Cavan hosting Down, Roscommon away to Cork, Louth up against Monaghan and Westmeath taking on Meath. In division 3 Laois face Antrim, Fermanagh host Sligo, Offally make the trip to Leitrim and Kildare are away to Clare. Waterford against Wexford, Limerick hosting Tipperary, Longford away to London and Carlow making the trip to Wicklow make up the division 4 fixtures.
