Ramor United scored a five point win over Lavey as moving week in the Cavan championship continued.
Ramor were always in control and led 10 points to four at half-time before winning out 12 points to seven.
Mark Magee, Enda Maguire, Ado Cole helped Ramor into a four point to no score lead after just six minutes.
Two Gerard Smith points got Lavey off the mark saw Ramor lead by three points, five points to two after 10 minutes.
Ado Cole, Cathal Maguire and Shane Keenan helped Ramor to their half-time tally of 10 points. Shane Tierney and Darren Monahan scored a point each for Lavey as Ramor led 10 points to four at half-time.
Remarkably Ramor would only score two points in the second-half. Through Simon Cadden and Liam Maguire. Maguire’s point coming in injury time.
However, Lavey were never able to close the gap. Christopher Conroy, Paul Gilcreest and Darren Jordan with Lavey’s second-half total of three points.
Ramor winning out 12 points to seven. The win see’s Ramor move to four points and remain in fifth place in the table on score difference.
Lavey remain rooted to the bottom of the league table with chances of making the quarter-final’s evaporating.
