Cavan Eagles suffered their first defeat as a national league club falling 56-53 to Phoenix Rockets in Lisburn.
Eagles started with their usual positivity and led 15-4 after the first-quarter. That was as good as it got for the visitors.
Rockets led by a point at half-time, 26-25, Rockets having won the second-quarter 22-10. Rockets edged ahead in the third quarter 14-8, leading 40-33.
Eagles managed to rack up 20 fourth quarter points, but it wasn’t enough as Rockets won out 56-53.
