Round 3 of the Northern Ireland championship was held in front of spectators

A level of normality is returning to the sport, north of the border with the North Armagh Motor club having hosted their Loughgall Stages rally on Saturday past with spectators in attendance. A full entry of 100 crews in a variety of rally cars from WRC to R5 to modified contested the 6 stages with the event been round 3 of the Northern Ireland Rally championship. Jonathon Greer with Kirsty Riddick on the notes took the victory in their Citroen C3 13 seconds ahead of the Hyundai R5 of Desi and Mark Henry with Monaghan Driver Stephen Wright who had Liam Moynihan on the notes completing the top 3 in their Ford Fiesta R5. Damien Toner and Denver Rafferty were the best of the modified crews taking 5th overall in their Mark 2 Escort.

The next counting round of the championship will be the Tour of the Sperrins on the 16th of October.
