Monaghan will renew acquaintances with Derry in the opening round of fixtures for the All-Ireland series.
Vinny Corey’s side will face the Ulster champions for the second time this year on Saturday May 27th. Throw-in at Celtic Park is at 7pm.
Derry claimed the bragging rights in their Ulster semi-final meeting already this year. The Oak Leaf county winning 1-21 to 2-10.
Meanwhile, Roscommon travel to Croke Park to face Dublin in their opening All-Ireland round-robin stage fixture.
The game is pencilled in for a 4pm throw-in on Sunday 28th May. The Dublin hurlers’ clash with Galway in the Leinster championship will be the curtain raiser.
