The GAA has confirmed that all four All Ireland football quarter-finals will be played at Croke Park.
Two of those fixtures will be played on Saturday July 1st, with the remainder the following day. The draw for the quarter-finals will be made on Monday after the preliminary rounds this weekend. The preliminary round will see Roscommon travel to Cork, Monaghan facing Kildare in Tullamore. While, Donegal hosting Tyrone while Galway and Mayo meet in Salthill.
Monaghan hope to see the return of Dessie Ward to action as they prepare to face Kildare in Tullamore. However, Manager Vinny Corey noted the Ballybay club man was nearing full fitness as his side prepare for the do or die of championship football
It is a double header of action in Tullamore on Saturday as the Monaghan minors will face Kerry in the All Ireland semi final at 2:30 followed by the senior encounter at 4:45pm. We will have live coverage on our Saturday sports program on Shannonside/Northern Sound
