Monaghan Senior football championship enters round 4

Defending champions Scotstown remain firmly on course for a last 4 spot.
The senior club championship returns this weekend ((Oct 2nd/3rd) in Monaghan with action in both groups. In Group 1, Scotstown the defending champions who have 2 wins from 2 outings welcome Carrickmacross who have 1 win and 2 losses in their 3 outings at 2pm on Saturday. At the same time in Group 2, Clontibret are the visitors to Castleblayney with both sides on 1 win and 1 loss in their opening 2 games. At 5pm on Saturday evening, in Group 1 will see Inniskeen who are unbeaten making the trip to Truagh who have 1 win in their opening 2 games. While in Group 2, the meeting of Latton and Ballybay in Latton will go along way to deciding who will top the group as they both have 2 wins with the Pearse Brothers club having played one extra game, their loss coming at the hands of Castleblayney the last day out while they have a bye in round 5.
