Monaghan have named their side for the All-Ireland quarter-final meeting with Armagh in Croke Park on Saturday at 6pm.
Dessie Ward who started in place of Shane Carey in last weekend’s win over Kildare, has been named on the starting 15 at corner-forward.
Ryan Wylie who wore the number four jersey in Tullamore, did not start that encounter with Darren Hughes starting instead. However, the Ballybay man is back in the Monaghan full-back line with Hughes on the bench.
Although, has been customary with Vinny Corey's starting sides a number of changes could be expected prior to throw-in. The team named has Rory Beggan in goal, a full-back line of Ryan O'Toole, Kieran Duffy and Ryan Wylie.
Karl O'Connell, Conor Boyle and Conor Mc Carthy make up the half-back line. Karl Gallagher and Killian Lavelle take up the midfield berths with Stephen O'Hanlon, Michael Bannigan, and Ryan McAnespie who would appear to have recovered from a knock picked up last weekend in the half-foward line.
Jack McCarron, Gary Mohan and Dessie Ward complete the starting 15. The one change on the bench sees Fintan Kelly come in for fellow Clones team mate Fabian Beggan.
Our Senior Football Team to face Armagh on Saturday the 1st of July at 6:00pm in Croke Park
