With a number of new changes been introduced to the motorsport calendar, this year will see Monaghan Motorclub not host their annual stages rally, they have however come up with a new idea to fill the date normally associated with the event. Pedal car racing which is becoming increasingly popular will arrive into the region with the club been one of the first to pioneer the new discipline of motorsport. Brendan Flynn is a member of the club and also the elected representative from the North/West region to the motorsport Ireland council. He joined Sean Mc Caffrey in studio to talk about the new initiative noting firstly on the difference between this form of sport and soap box racing
