The County Monaghan Motor Club annual awards night takes place this Sunday night at 8pm in the Four Seasons Hotel Monaghan Town. Tickets are €25. Food served at 8pm and there will be live music after. To book your place, DM the Monaghan Motor Club Facebook page.
Conor Boylan/Derek Mackarel are the 2024 Gary Nesbitt Club Navigation Championship winners. David McCrudden/Martin Tynan were 1st in the Expert class with Gregory Shinnors/Andrew Mackarel 2nd and Evin Hughes/Pakie Duffy finished 3rd. Aaron McElroy/Declan Tynan finished 1st in the Semi-Expert Class while Ciaran Maguire/Eoghan Corr finished 2nd and Peter Farrell/Damien Hagan finished 3rd. Aaron McGorman/Ciaran McGorman were 1st in the Novice class with Gretchen Swinburne/Martin Swinburne finishing 2nd and Molly Maguire/Shane Maguire finished 3rd. Eoghán Farrell/Shane Farrell finished 1st in the Beginner class, with Ben Mohan/Sean McCaffrey finishing 2nd and Caolain McCaffrey/Pauric Duffy finished 3rd in the class.
David McCrudden won the prestigious club Traders Championship again and Molly Maguire won the Ladies award for being the top scoring lady in the Traders Championship.
