Dermot Malones side will face Mayo in the All Ireland Quarter final

Monaghan minors aim to reach the All-Ireland semi-final when they face Connacht champions Mayo in Avant Paric Sean Mac Diarmada on Saturday.

That fixture is part of double header with Derry and Galway set to meet at 3:30pm. While it was disappointment in the Ulster final losing out to Derry on penalties. However, It was seen as a successful campaign.

Ulster GAA commentator Paddy Flood noted how well the Monaghan side have been set-up and playing.

We will have live coverage of that game from Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday sport with thanks to Eurotech Renewable energy solutions.

The other quarter-finals are a double header in Nowlan Park, Cork take on Dublin at 1pm and Kerry face Kildare at 3.
