It was a tough evening for the regions ladies minor teams. Monaghan, Cavan and Leitrim all losing out in their All Ireland semi-finals.
In the "A" championship, Monaghan went down to Galway by 2-15 to 0-9 points. The Connacht champions were the better side throughout the game and led by 1-10 to 6 points at half-time.
Farney boss Darren Greenan had no complaints at full-time.
Galway will now face Kildare in the final after their two point win over Cork.
The "B" championship seen Cavan loose out to Sligo by 2-15 to 11 points with Kerry coming through on the other side with a victory over Dublin.
Meanwhile in the "C" championship Donegal proved too strong for Leitrim as they set up an All-Ireland date with Waterford who accounted for Westmeath.
