It adds to the U16 success from last week for the Monaghan ladies.
Monaghan ladies claimed the Minor Ulster Platnium title last night with a 3-13 to 1-12 win over Antrim in Corrigan Park Belfast. Goals from Colleen Hughes and Holly Mc Quaid give the visitors a 2-06 to 8 point lead as they came from been 2 points down in the early stages. A 2nd goal from Mc Quaid who has featured on the Monaghan senior team during the league and championship ensured the title went to Monaghan adding to their U16 provincial success from last week. Cavan were 3-15 to 1-08 winners over Tyrone in the Gold final with Derry taking the silver title following their 4-12 to 3-07 win over Fermanagh.
