The Farney side are strong favourites to over Down in the Ulster championship quarter final
Monaghan get their Ulster championship campaign underway this Saturday when they take on Down at 4:30pm. Having reached the decider last year, the home side will enter the game as favourites particularly as they face a Down team who were relegated from Division 2 and there was also reports of discontent between the players and management following a team bonding weekend.
