Vinny Corey's side will look to make the last 4 this weekend

Monaghan will look to make the last four of the All-Ireland senior championship this Saturday when they face Armagh.

The All-Ireland quarter-final throws-in at 6pm in Croke Park.

Having lost out in the Ulster semi-final to Derry, Vinny Corey's side re-grouped in the new format championship. Monaghan drawing with the Oakleaf county before beating Clare and suffering defeat to Donegal.

However, a preliminary quarter-final win over Kildare last weekend in Tullamore has seen them into the last eight. Kieran Kearns, who has been on co-commentary duty for the past number of games, noted that the management team led by Vinny Corey have to be commended for what they have achieved in their first year in charge.
