The Deloitte Ulster Women’s coaching team has named their match-day squad for the final Round of the Vodafone Womens Interprovincial Series versus Connacht on Saturday (5pm kick-off, Energia Park). Ella Durkan will make her first appearance of the Series as she is named to start at full-back. Fiona Tuite makes a positional switch to join Durkan in the back three on the right wing, with Fern Wilson retained on the left wing. Ashleigh Orchard will partner Kelly Mc Cormill in the centre. Toni Macartney will start at out-half with Jemma Farrell at scrum-half. One of last weekend’s try-scorers, Ilse van Staden is selected at loosehead, with captain Beth Cregan named at hooker. Aishling O’Connell will join them in the front row at tighthead. Taryn Schutzler – another Ulster try-scorer last week – will line out in the second row alongside Keelin Brady. Claire Boles has been released from international duties and will start at blindside flanker. Lauren Maginnes comes in to start at openside, and Stacey Sloan is retained at Number Eight, completing the starting pack. Ava Fannin, Elizabeth McKeever, Shannon Buller, Helen McGhee and Katie Hetherington are the forward reinforcements, and Rachael McIlroy, Peita McAlister and the returning Holly Brannigan provide the back line cover.
