THE 2022 All-Ireland Ladies Minor Champions will be crowned this evening, August 3. Monaghan were All-Ireland Minor A Finalists in 2019 and now they aim for a B title. This will be a very first B Final for Monaghan, who have contested four A deciders, including successful ones in 1999, 1998 and 1994. Reaching the decider has come as a massive boost for the county who seen the senior team drop to the intermediate grade earlier this year. The Farney side overcame Kerry in the semi final coming from 7 points down to win by 1 and manager Darren Greenan noted the never say die attitude the panel have built up over the past number of years
Longford, meanwhile, will aim to retain the B title they won against Roscommon in 2019. These are two excellent sides who will battle it out for the silverware – and a high-scoring encounter could be on the cards here.
