Monaghan Institute reach historic final

In 3rd level GAA action Monaghan Institute made history by reaching the All-Ireland Final of the Electric Ireland Higher Education Corn Comhairle Ard Oideachais for the very first time. They defeated South-West College Enniskillen on a scoreline of 5-6 to 2-10 at a windy Bawnacre centre in Irvinstown, Co Fermanagh yesterday. The team is captained by Monaghan County Senior player Aaron Mulligan who scored 3-5 and they will travel to Carlow IT this Friday to contest the final as part of a weekend of Feile events.
