Scotstown will get their defence of the Senior club championship underway next month against Ballybay. Following on from the draw been made on Monday night at the county executive meeting, the 2021 champions will also face Clontibret, Donaghamoyne and Aughnamullen in the group stages. The 2nd group contains last years beaten finalists Truagh who are joined by Carrickmacross, Inniskeen, Castleblayney and Latton.
In the intermediate grade, Group 1 contains Magheracloone, Corduff, Emyvale, Cremartin and Doohamlet. Monaghan Harps, Blackhill, Toome, Tyholland and Sean Mc Dermotts make up Group 2
In the Junior draw, Killanny, Drumhowan, Killeevan, Currin and Clones will all face each other in the group stage. Eire Og, Rockcorry, Scotstown, Oram and Aghabog make up the other group.
The championship will get underway on the weekend of the 4th of August
