Monaghan registered their first win of the Lory Meagher campaign as they crushed Warwickshire 2-26 to 1-4.
Thomas Hughes found the net after just six minutes for the farney men with Ethan Flynn adding a second goal on 26 minutes.
Monaghan led 2-13 to 0-3 at half-time. The hosts limited Warwickshire to just 1-1 in the second-half as they won out by 25 points.
The victory moves Monaghan to fourth in the Lory Meagher Cup table with three points. Cavan, Longford and Lancashire all have four points.
Monaghan’s next game is away to Lancashire on May 14th.
