In ladies football in Division 2B Monaghan's win over Tyrone in the Lidl league last weekend has now been changed to a draw. Kieran Kearns side had originally been awarded the victory by 10 points to 9 with that result been carried on media reports. However the Ladies football association updated their website and league table late yesterday evening to show that the game ended in a draw at 10 points a piece. During the course of the game there had been some confusion over the half time score with the referee having reported it as Monaghan leading by 6 points to 5 while others believed it was level at that point. It would appear that the officials have since rectified the score line to leave it at a draw. The league table now has Monaghan on 4 points with Tyrone picking up their 1st point.
Cavan and Armagh will meet in the other fixture in that group this Sunday at 2pm in the Athletic grounds after it was postponed last weekend due to Storm Franklin.
