Monaghan booked their place in the Ulster minor football final after crushing Armagh in Castleblayney.
Dermot Malone's side won out 2-16 to 2-5 having taken control of the game in the second-half. Monaghan had led 1-10 to 2-2 at half-time.
Monaghan led four points to no score after seven minutes. Armagh found the net with their attack through Darragh McNulty.
McNulty found the net for Armagh’s second goal on 21 minutes. John McGinty’s goal on the stroke of half-time left Monaghan ahead at the break, 1-10 to 2-2.
Armagh could only manage three points in the second-half, with Monaghan finding the net again through McCrystal on 39 minutes.
Monaghan will now play Cavan or Donegal in next Saturday’s ulster minor semi-final.
