Leona Maguire shot an excellent 70 for a two under par round the Women’s PGA championship in John’s Creek, Georgia.
The Cavan woman started on the back nine and shot birdies at 11 and 12, but shot at double bogey at 15 to make the turn at level par.
On the front nine Maguire shot birdies at the par four fourth and the par five fifth to sign her card for 70, nine shots off leader Nelly Korda heading into the weekend.
Antrim’s Stephanie Meadow missed the cut finishing at three over par for her first two rounds, with the cut set at two over par.
