Lurgan land Cavan senior ladies football title

Lurgan landed a dramatic Cavan ladies senior football title with a one point victory over Crosserlough in Kingspan Breffni.

Lurgan won out 13 points to 12 with Lurgan having led seven points to six at half-time.

Kacey McDermott fired over five points (2f) with three from Catherine Dolan and one each from Aoife Brady, Micaela Doonan, Emma Tolan and Shannah Galligan.

Meanwhile, Mullahoran landed the intermediate championship with a 13 points to three win over Knockbride.
