Lurgan came from behind to beat Termon 3-6 to 1-11 in the Ulster ladies senior club football championship first round at Donegal.
Lurgan made a great comeback having trailed 0-6 to 0-1 at the break; Geraldine McLaughlin kicked all of Termon’s points while Laura Keogan was on target for the Cavan champions.
Lurgan restored parity 14 minutes into the second half when Emer Corcoran found the net and four minutes later, they took the lead when Clara Lynch added another goal.
Three minutes from time Lynch scored her second goal and sealed victory for Lurgan who can now look forward to playing Donaghmoyne on Sunday October 30th.
