Cavan continue their Lory Meagher cup campaign when they host Leitirm on Easter Sunday.
The cup format is tougher this year after the round robin five games, the top two meet in the final. There is no semi-final.
The farney men, 2021 Lory Meagher runners-up fell to an opening day defeat to Monaghan. All is not lost however! But all is not good either.
Cavan lost all four games in the national league, effectively ranked number 35 in the country. Leitrim opened their campaign with a surprise victory over Longford.
Leitrim will look to keep the winning ways, if they get in-front, Cavan will struggle to stop them.
Monaghan will look to build on their opening day victory when they go to Louth. This you would expect to be the Lory Meagher Cup final for 2022.
Monaghan shouldn’t be in this grade, Rackard Cup should be their lowest point. Louth however have some good attacking hurlers. If Monaghan win here then start booking the tickets for the Croke Park train.
