The focus this weekend will be on the start of the Ladies Lidl league with a Northern Sound derby to look forward too as Cavan and Monaghan are set to meet in Templeport in Division 2 on Sunday at 2pm. This years competition has a similar format to 2021 with teams placed in groups which will see another local derby as Armagh and Tyrone will face each other at the Wolf Tones GAA ground in Lurgan. Division 1 will see the current All Ireland champions Meath who were promoted last year get their campaign underway when they welcome Cork to Paric Tailteann on Saturday at 1:30pm.
