The LGFA have released their LIDL ladies league fixtures for 2025 with the action due to get underway on the weekending the 25th/26th of January. The meeting of Kerry and Armagh who are the defending champions is the key fixture in Division 1 in what is a repeat of this years final. Monaghan who retained their Division 2 status will open their campaign away to Roscommon with them welcoming Tipperary in their first home game. The Rossies will have back to back home games as Clare are the visitors in round 2 before been away to Galway.
Division 3 will see Cavan open their league campaign away to Louth followed by a trip to Down before welcoming Carlow in Round 3. Longford and Leitrim are both in Division 4 with both having home advantage in round 1 as Leitrim welcome Fermanagh and Longford host Derry. Round 2 will see Leitrim away to Wicklow while Longford welcome Kilkenny. Both sides are scheduled to meet each other in Round 6 on the 2nd of March. The league finals are due to be played on the 12th/13th of April
The proposed Allianz national football league fixtures are believed to be with county boards at the moment with confirmation of those expected in the coming weeks. With no pre-season tournaments, the first intercounty competition of 2025 will be the national league.
