Leona Maguire three shots off lead at Women's open

Leona Maguire is three shots off the lead following her opening round at the Women’s Open.

While, Stephanie Meadow is just two shots off the lead. Meadow’s carded a one-under par round of 71 at Walton Heath today.

There’s currently a five-way tie for the clubhouse lead on three-under par. The Cavan golfer shot a level par round of 72 at Walton Heath.

Amy Yang, Emily Kristine Pedersen, Jaravee Boonchant, Jeon-Geun Lee, Perrine Delacour and Hyo-Joo Kim all lead after the first round on thre-under-par.
