Leona Maguire has made history by becoming the first Irish player to win a Ladies European Tour event after a one-shot victory at the Aramco Team Series event in Hemel Hempstead.
The Cavan woman trailed clubhouse leader Maria Hernandez, who posted a seven-under-par score, by a shot going down the last.
However, Maguire produced one of the shots of her career, coming out of light rough to the centre of the fairway.
Maguire finishing with an eagle on 18 to win the tournament. Thus becoming the first Irish winner of a ladies European tour event.
