Leona Maguire is one shot off the lead heading into the weekend at the LPGA Mediheal Championship in California.
Maguire recovered from bogey’s on the opening three holes of her round to score a one-over-par round of 73 overnight, leaving one off leader Danielle King.
Maguire followed up the opening three bogeys with birdies on seven and nine. Bogey’s on 11 and 16 were cancelled with birdies on the par three 12 and on 15.
The Cavan woman is six-under-par tied for second place with Lauren Kim, Danielle Kang leading at seven-under following a second-round 66.
Maguire gets her third round underway at 9.55pm Irish time this evening.
