Leona Maguire looks set to miss the cut at the LA Open at Wilshire Country Club in California after a frustrating second-round performance.
Maguire shot a second successive round of 73 where five birdies on the 4th, 9th, 11th, 15th and 16th holes were cancelled out by five bogeys on the 5th, 8th, 10th,12th and 14th holes.
She also carded a double-bogey tossed in on the 7th hole leaving her on four over par for the competition, with the projected cut at three over.
Stephanie Meadow will almost definitely miss the cut. Meadow shot 72 on Friday but her opening round of 77 leaves her at seven over.
Korea's Jin-Young Ko and Japan's Nasa Hataoka are currently joint-leaders on seven-under par, two strokes clear of Hannah Green in sole possession of third spot.
