Leona Maguire holds the lead heading into the weekend at the Women's PGA Championship in New Jersey.
Maguire birdied four of her final six holes for a three-under 68 and a one-shot lead over three players at the halfway point.
Mel Reid (67) of England, China’s Xiyu Lin (71) and rookie Norwegian Celine Borge (69) are tied for second. That trio are a shot ahead of first-round leader South African Lee-Anne Pace (73) and fifth-ranked Minjee Lee of Australia.
"This is uncharted territory for me," explained Maguire. "Whatever happens this week, I'm sure I'll learn a lot, and just sort of taking it one day at a time. I think this golf course demands that. I think you can't think more than one shot ahead, let alone a hole or a round ahead."
Maguire will tee off at 7:40pm Irish time this evening.
Meanwhile, Stephanie Meadow is inside the top ten on one-under-par.
