Latton booked a place in the Monaghan quarter-finals after a one point win over Clontribret.
Clontibret had already secured their semi-final place. However, Latton edged Killanny out of the quarter-finals with a 1-11 to 13-point win.
Clontibret led at half-time 0-8 to 1-3. Aaron Mulligan having scored the important Latton goal with 13 minutes on the clock.
The sides were level 1-10 to 13 points as the game moved into injury time. Indeed, Aaron Mulligan sending over a free-kick, five minutes into injury time to secure victory and book a place in the semi-final.
Latton finish third in group two and now face Ballybay Pearse Brothers in the quarter-final, weekending October sixth.
