Kingscourt happy to be back on the big stage in Cavan

This Sunday sees Kingscourt contest the Cavan senior championship final, facing defending champions Gowna at 4pm in Kingspan Breffni.

The Stars featured in the 2020 decider where they lost out after a replay to Crosserlough. Their last success coming back in 2015.

Former Monaghan county footballer Owen Lennon along with Brendan Lennon are joint managers of the side.

Speaking to Paul Fitzpatrick, Owen noted, while his work in Cavan had him familiar with the club scene, he was still surprised by its quality when taking over the Stars.
